I shall be an Animagus!!!!!!!!!

I would be an animagus that shape-shifts into a dragon, or a white wolf.... A white tiger would be cool too..... Hmmm..... SO MANY CHOICES!!!!! My favorite animal is a dragon, but the other two choices are good picks too........ Oh well, I can't pick so I'll leave it at that.

Also I decided today that Jazmin is much crazier than I am... Although I'm not sure if that's good or bad. I guess we shall see in the future. Crazy isn't always bad.

Super what now?

I thought we already went over this...... Refer to my blog about this subject to find out more. Thank you and have a nice day.

It's been HOW long?!

I just remembered that we only have one week of YWiC left... That makes me sad because I really like going to YWiC and that June is over and I'm one month closer to being a junior. I don't know how to feel about this. I guess I'm kind of excited, but at the same time I'm like, "Whoa, I'm halfway through High School." But anyway, This camp has been really fun, and I'm glad I signed up for it this year. That's all for now, BYE!!!!

Jokes

I can't really tell jokes or anything so I can't really enter this. Even if I did tell jokes they would be related to a specific fandom or something. You'd have to understand the context in order to get it so I won't even try. I do recommend reading Jazmin's 'joke' entry though.

Back in time.....

I would go back to the days of the American Revolution and I would like to meet people like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, or Alexander Hamilton. I love the Revolution and the history behind it. It was a war fought for the right reasons, unlike World War I, or some of the other wars throughout history. However, on the way to the 1700s, I'll have to make a stop somewhere during WWII. I really love the history behind it. So that's my trip back in time.

So it's Disney today??

Oh man, picking a Disney character to be. Hmmmm, maybe Mulan, since she can fight and is respected, but then there's also Merida. GAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! HOW DOES ONE PICK JUST ONE?????????????????

On another note: https://www.prizeo.com/prizes/lin-manuel-miranda/your-shot-at-hamilton-tickets

Yes that is a chance to see Hamilton on Lin and Leslie and Philippa's last day. Airfare and hotel are included. So yup that's my excitement over Hamilton for the day.

Right, back to Disney. I shall not pick. Too many favorites. Like Aladdin, Mulan, Lilo, Mad Hatter (Depp version), Alice Kingsleigh, and so many more. No picking for me.

Oh! I really hope to finish my website cause it's going to be AWESOME!!!

Your Fellow Avenger Link

So I edited my previous post to include this, but I figured I should make a new post so people would see it if they can't find it on YouTube.

Title: Captain America VS Iron Man RAP BATTLE! || Hamilton Parody (Your Fellow Avenger) || NerdSync

Link: https://youtu.be/TiUJcTSYdL0

First Superpowers, and now Superheroes????

So Jillian Hughes is in the new high schoolers camp and she is practically my twin sister. We are really alike, but because she put Captain America I have to say IRON MAN IS BETTER!!! Also Nightwing. Those are the two I pick because J. Daniel Atlas from Now You See Me 1 + 2 isn't a superhero. I really like Iron Man because as much as he acts like he doesn't, he really cares about his fellow avengers (oh and for those who have listened to the whole Hamilton soundtrack I recommend looking up My Fellow Avenger, it's really good: https://youtu.be/TiUJcTSYdL0). Nightwing is my pick over Batman because I really don't like Batman. Or Superman. Sorry to those who do, but I just don't.

So....

I was re-reading my blog from last year and most of the prompts were different, so I've decided to answer them again to see just how different my answers will be.

6/15/15:

Already answered Color, Song, Movie, Food, Restaurant, Drink, and Book.

  1. TV show (anime): Black Butler +
  2. Website: Funimation.com
  3. Choose your own favorite category x2 (I'll pick two new ones):
  4. Favorite Movie (Live Action): Now You See Me franchise
  5. Favorite Dessert: Chocolate Chip Cookies + Milk, also Vanilla Ice Cream

6/16/15:

What is something that makes you smile?
When I get to see a movie I've been wanting to see, when I listen to a really good song or when a song I love comes on on the radio.

What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done?
Going overseas and climbing 533 steps.

6/17/15:

If you could shape-shift into any object, what would it be? (No animals :P)
I would shape-shift into a robot so I could still do stuff.

6/18/15:

What is a place you would like to go at least once in your life? Describe it and tell us why you want to go there.
I want to go to Japan because I really love the culture, not just the anime. Their technology is also really advanced and I'd love to see it.

6/19/15:

Summarize your experience this week using only one syllable words. (I guess I'll do last week)
         Cool and fun.

6/22/15:

Picture yourself three years from now. Tell us about what you see! What about five years? Ten years? Twenty?

Three Years: Finishing my freshman year of college.

Five Years: Finishing my junior year of college.

Ten Years: I have a Bachelor's in Computer Science, and a good job somewhere like
Broadway.com. I may have a family now or not.

Twenty Years: I'm doing well at my job and I most likely will have a family.

6/23/15:

If you could create a spell, what would you name it and what would it do?
My spell would be able to put anything into a space so that I don't have to carry it around and the spell would also take it out. It would be called: Evicicus Horribigeo.

6/24/15:

If you could have any animal, real of fictional, as your pet/sidekick, what would it be?
I would have Ignatius from the Summoner series by Taran Matharu.

6/25/15:

A witch's curse has changed you into a living portrait (or a piece of artwork). What do you look like?

I'd probably look like one of the portraits from Harry Potter, since I am a Slytherin after
       all.

6/26/15:

What woman, dead or alive, has inspired you?

J.K. Rowling has inspired me because Harry Potter was, at first, just an idea on a napkin from a coffee shop.

And that's it! All the blog prompts from last year. I'll have to look and see what my answers were last year to see how different they are.

An Explanation

So a few times I have had trouble answering these blog prompts. Let me explain why in case you haven't figured it out. I am a HUGE book, movie, TV show, comic, anime, and manga nerd. I get really attached to characters so it's hard to pick between characters. Especially if the characters look similar or have similar personalities. So the blog posts asking me to pick a favorite or just pick is really hard. Just to let you know. You're welcome.

Just TWO???

So this question doesn't specify if these people had to be real or fake so I'm going to do one of each. I would choose Alexander Hamilton and Freed Justine. Why? Well Alexander Hamilton is the founding father that doesn't get enough credit for what he did for America. I could always pick George Washington or Thomas Jefferson, but the average person would pick them. In case you can't tell by now, I'm not the average person. I picked Freed Justine from Fairy Tail because he is my favorite character from that show and the first fictional character to pop up in my mind. He's a really cool character and he's fiercely loyal to his friends. He also has a really big heart even if he doesn't seem like it.

^ Also Freed ^

Meeting A Book Character

So I've been thinking about this all weekend, and couldn't pick between my favorite book characters. I know the prompt wants us to choose, but I really can't. It's like asking me to choose a favorite character from every book series I've ever read, which is IMPOSSIBLE. So I'll just tell you the top 10 not in any particular order.

1. Nico di Angelo (PJO and HoO)
2. Draco Malfoy (HP)
3. Fletcher (Summoner Series)
4. Raffaele Laurent Bassette (The Young Elites)
5. Thorin Oakenshield
6. Legolas
7. Fili + Kili
8. Bilbo Baggins
9. Samwise
10. Aragorn

5-10 are from the Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings

Superpowers

If I was a superhero I would probably have the power of controlling shadows and the dead, much like Nico di Angelo, but a little different since I am not a child of Hades, nor am I created by Rick Riordan. :( My name would Shadow Hex and I would be the hero that everyone thinks exists, but no one has ever seen him/her so they aren't for sure. All my friends would totally agree with my choice since they know me, but everyone else probably doesn't know why I'd pick these powers and if you really want to know you can ask Jazmin. That's all for now!

So far...

So for this post I'm not following a blog prompt like the rest, but I still think this will be good.

The prompt from a few days ago was our ten favorite things. So I decided to extend that.

Favorite Male Actor: Robert Downey Jr. and Johnny Depp
Favorite Female Actress: Maggie Smith
Iron Man or Captain America? TEAM IRON MAN ALL THE WAY!!!
DC or Marvel? I can't pick one but I can say this: I despise Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man
Red or Green? Is that even a question??? GREEN.
Favorite Season: Winter

We've been working on independent projects and I decided to do and HTML5 website about Broadway because I have been obsessed with Hamilton recently, but before that I was obsessed with Matilda and before that Wicked. I really love musicals and a select few plays. I wanted to be able to inform more people about them and hope that more people will come to like musicals.

The Tony Awards were last Sunday and I was able to watch them. I have three words THEY WERE AWESOME!!!!!!! I mean Hamilton was mentioned every 5 minutes, but the other performances were really cool too. It was unfair to all other musicals because of Hamilton, but that doesn't mean they aren't great, it just means that Hamilton is just that much better.

My Favorite Animal Is...

DRAGONS!!!!!!!!!!!

I really love dragons because they can be seen as friendly creatures (Saphira) or evil (Smaug), but almost everyone agrees that they are majestic creatures. Dragons can fly and a lot of them breathe fire, but some of them have something to do with the other elements as well. Also: DRAGONS!!!!! Who doesn't love dragons?????? I mean come on.

My friends probably think that my logic is flawed, but dragons are cool so their argument is invalid.

My Favorite Things

  1. Blue, black, and green
  2. You'll Be Back by Johnathon Groff (Hamilton)
  3. Treasure Planet
  4. Chicken
  5. Aqua Reef
  6. Shirley Temple
  7. Dragon
  8. Rick Riordan
  9. Favorite Christmas tree ornament: the Stitch one I got a couple years ago
  10. Favorite TV Show (Live Action): Big Bang Theory

So I really don't have a favorite song so I just picked one that I really like at the moment. Also it's impossible to pick a favorite book so I had to make the decision to just put Rick Riordan. Those who know know, the rest can just wonder. You're welcome.

My Summer So Far

I'm really glad that I'm able to be in YWiC again this year, especially in the alum class where we have three weeks instead of the two we had last year. I'm looking forward to learning and creating new projects.

So last year at this time I probably would have told you that all I did was sit and watch TV, or went swimming, but this year I went on a trip right after school got out. First I travelled to New York City, before flying to London. We then went to Paris for about 5 hours, before going to Germany where we spent the majority of the trip.

In New York City I got to go see Hamilton, the hottest musical on Broadway right now. Last night it won 11 Tony awards including Best Musical! It was nominated for 16, with some actors and actresses going up against their own co-stars. After the show I ended up being able to go back stage and get on the stage to meet the actors and actresses. The main lead, Lin-Manuel Miranda had to leave right after the show, but I got to see almost everyone else.
^ Daveed Diggs, who plays Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson (Tony Award Winner) ^
^ Renee Elise Goldsberry, who plays Angelica Schuyler (Tony Award Winner) ^
^ Leslie Odom Jr., who plays Aaron Burr (Tony Award Winner) ^
^ Rory O'Malley, who is the third person to play King George ^

In London I got to go to the Harry Potter studios, the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey and the replica of the Globe, where I got to see The Taming of the Shrew. We also got to walk around London and see the city. I also got to see the bridge that they 'blew up' in the sixth Harry Potter film, but we did not have time to cross it, but we saw it.
^ The Tower of London ^
^ Model of the Harry Potter ^
^ The theatre for J.K. Rowling's new play ^
^ Joan of Arc Statue in Notre Dame ^

After London was Paris and Germany, and sadly I don't have any pictures easily accessible to put on here from Germany, so I'll just write a quick couple of sentences. We went to the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame in Paris since we only there for about 5 hours. In Germany we went to Munich, Cologne, Berlin, Stuttgart, Grosshabersdorf, and Tubingend(?). In Cologne my mother decided it'd be a brilliant idea to make me walk up 533 stairs. It was NOT fun and the view wasn't all that good either, unlike in Berlin where there were only 267 steps and the view was amazing.
